After Bigg Boss 5, the actor hasn’t committed to any other television show yet
All you Salman Khan fans out there, if you were disappointed that you didn’t get to see much of your favourite star on Bigg Boss 5, you may want to steel yourself for this: you may not see him at all on 10 Ka Dum. We hear that the actor has not yet agreed to do the third season of the game show. When quizzed about 10 Ka Dum 3, Sneha Rajani, Senior EVP and Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, said that the channel has no plans for it in the near future. So all those rumours that Sanjay Dutt will host 10 Ka Dum 3 are not true either. 10 Ka Dum has been a major TRP booster for the channel and we wonder if the fact that Sony has two new fiction shows lined up was behind the decision. Or is it because Salman is busy shooting for Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2 and he just does not have the time to spare? That’s what happened with Bigg Boss 5 and we saw more of Sanjay than Salman on the show. In fact, we also heard that it was very dicey if Salman would be a part of Bigg Boss 5Grand Finale and the Colors guys heaved a sigh of relief when he did turn up.
Looks like Sony realises there is no point in bringing back 10 Ka Dum without Salman and so have simply put it on the back burner to avoid hassles. Not a bad idea, actually. Hey, would you watch 10 Ka Dum if Salman wasn’t the host?
