For his film Barfi! produced by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor became the jumping jack for real.
In one of the sequences for the Kolkata schedule, he had to run away from the cops and that meant jumping from the rooftop of one building to another - 8 to 10 feet apart.
While Basu had a body double arranged for the scene, Ranbir was in a rather daredevil mood. The actor asked the body double to do the sequence once and then went on to do the actual take himself.
