Filmmaker and internationally renowned talk show host Karan Johar who was to can a special episode of Koffee with
Karan with the world famous heiress and fashion icon Paris Hilton has backed out of his commitment to go ahead with the interview.
A source says, The stage was set for the famous Karan-Paris television face-off. However Paris' media team reportedly laid down too many conditions. Karan was allegedly told that he could not ask Paris any personal questions--especially those pertaining to drug use, her jail term or sex tapes.'' Initially Karan was playing along and trying to accommodate the various conditions that Paris' agents/media managers
kept bringing up. However after a point, it is said that Karan, who has never been told what to ask and what not toon his famous couch, has decided to drop the Paris interview. Our source adds, Paris' media people were familiarised with the format of Koffee with Karan. They knew exactly what the whole
show was all about. In fact they had agreed to the show after watching a few episodes and learning how popular it was. However their decision to lay down too many terms even after knowing what the show format entailed and how 'big' KJo was, is ridiculous.''
One hears that the media company handling the heiress' Indian leg is now trying to pacify Karan again.
