It was all about show of strength at the Sharjah cricket ground where Salman Khans MumbaiHeroes played their first match at the CCL championship. Even though the match ended as a tie, there was enough drama through out the game.
The entire Khan brigade including brothers Arbaaz and Sohail were present along with supporters Bobby Deol, Aashish Chaudhary,Chunkey Pandey, Sanjay Kapoor and others. Salman wearing a white shirt And blue jeans made a stellar entry on the field to the applause of his fans? His team cheer leaders Genelia Dsouza and Kangana Rananut provided theglamour element. In fact Genelia was highly animated through out the match jumping and waving the team flag frantically each time her mates scored a four or saved some runs. Kangana on the other hand looked a bit uncomfortable under the spotlight initially but soon joined Genie in the cheering.
Team member Aftab Shivdasani bore the grunt when he dropped more than one easy catches. Buzz is that Salman quickly suggested some changes on the field when things started going a bit downhill for their team.
Even though the stadium wasn't nearly as packed as expected, the supporters were loud enough to let Salman know who their favorite Khan was. All through out the match Salman was on his toes meeting and greeting influential local Sheikhs and people who helped him put the event together. Despite other teams and Bollywood presence it was only Salman Khan who stood out and provided all the action and drama at the 2012 CCL.
