Vegetarianism is no longer taboo with film stars. Recently, those who gathered in large numbers at a contest in Chennai were Dhanush, Vidya Balan, Sonu Sood besides, of course, biggies likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Mallika Sherawat, Kareena Kapoor, Hema Malini and Ayesha Takia. The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had organized "India`s Hottest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2011". Celebrity winners of the contest would be chosen on the number of votes each receives. They would be announced in January 2012.
