We're sure many would by now have congratulated Amitabh Bachchan on his big Hollywood venture Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of " The Great Gatsby".
Amitabh Bachchan is to play Meyer Wolfsheim, shadowy gambler and troublemaker in the film.
But what's shocking is that Amitabh's name was buried deep in the studios' press release. The release, which touted stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays Gatsby; Tobey Maguire, who plays Nick Carraway; Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton, who play Daisy and Tom Buchannan; and Isla Fisher as well, had AB's name buried deep somewhere towards the end. Even the Huffington Post didn't fail to notice blasphemy. The Post wrote: "It's a small role, but a significant development. Bachchan is one of the most revered actors in Indian history, a king of Bollywood with unparalleled success."
Hollywood , did you hear that?
