I wonder how people spend weeks with Dolly: Ashita

Actresses Ashita Dhawan Gulabani and Dolly Bindra indulge in a verbal duel on the set of a courtroom drama 

Dolly Bindra (as Sweety the culprit) was pitted against Ashita Dhawan (as the lawyer) in one of the episodes of Adaalat. According to sources, Bindra was instructed by the production house to stick true to her firebrand image. However, once she started off, there was no controlling her. 

Informs an onlooker, "Dolly started delivering lines which weren't part of the script and Dhawan kept missing the cues. When she protested, the director to cut in and deliver her lines every time she felt Dolly was going overboard and Ashita was also encouraged to not be bullied by Dolly and to continue wit her part. Finally, Ashita decided she'd had enough when Dolly slipped in her signature laugh during a scene and commanded everyone to join in. She snapped, 'The drama isn't needed as this is a courtroom and not some Comedy Circus." 

Apparently, a part of this verbal duel including impromptu dialogues will be retained in the final edits of the show. Says a ruffled Ashita, "Those were the most stressful three days of the shoot. I wonder how people spend weeks with her. Half the time, I was scared of her. Everytime I saw her, my ears turned red." Dolly said, "I think people were nervous. I was just being myself and improvised a few dialogues. In fact, a group of actors told me that it was fun having me around."
