This time around, he's welcomed a cute little angel in his family. In an exclusive chat with zoOm, Imran got to talking about the latest addition to the Khan khandaan - Azad Rao Khan. But they're both elated now. It's fun to watch them with the baby... And I love his name. Azad!" It's all fun now, Imran... Wait till you baby-sit!

Bipasha Basu is the ‘Lady Gunda’

If you're thinking that she's part of a new 'superhero' film, we're not quite getting at that. No, this one is about a secret from her past... and a rather 'strong' one. Recently, while chatting with zoOm, Bipasha told her that she was referred to as 'Lady Gunda' in her school days.

Here's why... When we asked her how she tackled all the 'players' and naughty boys who made passes at her, she quickly replied, "The need to 'handle' them never arose. They were all quite wary of me because I was famous as the brat who hit everyone. I was quite the 'Lady Gunda' in my school days." So don't go by the songs she grooves to... we're telling you, becoming Bips' 'lucky boy' aint that easy!

I’ll dance for a house in London: Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif will dance at New Year's Eve dos. But only if it involves "ridiculous amounts of money" enough to buy her another house inLondon (she already has a large one there).

Before she flew to the British capital, she offered her reasons for consistently turning down dancing offers, "I don't think it's worth it. I would dance at a New Year's bash in a five-star hotel or anywhere else only if I was offered a humongous amount of money! Money that would allow me to buy a house for my family in London or not do a couple of films or something equivalent to that. I haven't been offered such an amount as yet. The money has to be so ridiculous that I can't refuse!"

Money and hits (Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani) aside, the lure of spending time with family is overbearing, "For my family and me, Christmas and New Year's are very special occasions, a time when the entire family comes together. I would never sacrifice those moments for a dance at a hotel."

B-town's item boys of 2011

B-Town superstars seemed to have taken it upon themselves to up the glam quotient in Hindi songs in 2011. Here are the poster perfect hotties who burnt the screens with their moves

They are hot, they are sizzling, they are the new screen scorchers flaunting their beautifully carved bodies even as the audience stared at them with their eyes wide open and sound those famous ceetees as they unbuttoned their shirts. Yes, we are talking of the 'item boys' who've sizzled throughout the year leaving their admirers gasping for breath and then some more. They are the secret desires of all young hearts and they are the idols of all those who want to impress their counterparts. They are the new bombshells of Bollywood.

Ranbir takes an item bow
Chillar Party was a children's flick, but dreamboat Ranbir Kapoor made his admirers groove with him with a full-on masti song and dance sequence. Dressed in a canary yellow shirt and the lips painted a luscious red with paan streaks, Ranbir Kapoor led the trend that many followed in the weeks to come. The boy who dropped the towel in 2007 surely made his sexiness count and seemed to have come of age in 2011.

SRK says chammak challo
The King Khan - Shah Rukh Khan had it all in him to make headlines, and headlines he made with the most expensive film of the year -RA.One. The movie might have not done as well as expected at the BO but his presence was hard to miss when he shook his legs alongside Kareena Kapoor in Chammak Challo showing that he can just as much rock the scene as anyone else. Akon's song went on to become the highest searched song on the internet and created ripples in the circuit.

Aamir kehte hain
Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan had fans grooving to 80s style song as he took on the center stage in Delhi Belly. Shaking his booty, he took the entire nation to the disco dance era.

Dutt's the way saiyyan
He refuses to lose his enigma; Sanjay Dutt was the saiyyan who scorched the screen with the Angelina Jolie lookalike Lisa Hayden in Rascals. Showing off his tattooed biceps, he turned the heat on in typical Sanju baba style registering yet another hit number.

Ranveer shakes it too
The new ladies' boy, Ranveer Singh was majboor with his aadat in Ladies VS Ricky Bahl donning many caps and conning all those hearts that beat faster on his style.

Akshay and John move & groove
Hunks Akshay Kumar and John Abraham , made a lasting impact by their pelvic thrusts in Desi Boyz much to the drooling delight of their female fans .

Salman's desi beats
The original hunk of Bollywood ruled throughout the year with two back to back blockbusters. Once again he proved that he still rules the formulaic Hindi films. Leading from the front, Sallu had fans leaping out of their seats and shaking a leg to songs like Character Dheela which was one of the highest points of Ready, followed by an enthusiastic Dhinka Chika and a month later, Desi Beats in Bodyguard. He was the (Sal)man of the year 2011.

I like bad boys: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra talks about movies, masti and romance with Madhureeta Mukherjee

Five years since Don, the junglee billi has only gotten wilder, hotter and bolder. In this candid chat, Priyanka tells all about her plans to chase bad boys... and take them home. Read on...

Were you successful at catching Don this time around?
Well, Roma is feistier this time around. She's angry! But Don ko pakadna namumkin hai. You can get really close to him, but he vanishes in thin air.

SRK is always on-the-go, how do you manage to keep up?
We traveled so much for the film because we want people to know about it; it's definitely better than the first Don. Yes, SRK has high-energy, but I have amazing energy too.

We believe you like bad boys...
This quote of mine is going to go down in history. Yes, I like bad boys, and I like to take them home to my mom. She also likes bad boys... Ha, ha, ha...

You love your stunts and you love your action. Quite a different genre for an A-list actress...
You do films that you like. I love dabbling in different genres, and I like being good at different genres of cinema.

We haven't seen you in an out-an-out item song yet...
I did Desi Girl, but that was in my own film. I don't think songs in your own films should count as 'item songs'. But I would love to do a song in someone else's film.

It's all about 'Girl-power' nowadays. Heroines are turning 'heroes' in films...
I think it's amazing that women-oriented films are working. Be it Vidya in The Dirty Picture, Rani in NOKJ, Katrina in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan or Saat Khoon Maaf. I think Fashion brought back the trend. I went against all odds with that one.

How's the music coming along?
It's been a fabulous experience. I lived, breathed and ate music in USA. I'm trying something so new and I hope it's something that makes our country proud.

Your song lyrics have apparently said a lot about your life...
Ha, ha... Not a lot, but I certainly took a second look at the lyrics and thought that it was much more than I'd usually say about myself. At the end of the day, the songs are supposed to by my expressions...

Priyanka ko pataana kitna mushkil hai?
Priyanka ko pataana bhi namumkin hai! I'm turned off by romantic gestures and flowers and chocolates. I have very high standards.

So what are these high standards that the guys need to achieve?
I don't like guys who are conventional. I'm an achiever; he has to be an achiever. I admire drive, I admire ambition. I like a guy who keeps my on my toes.

But are you a romantic at heart?
Tremendously. I live with romance in my brain. I'm a true-blue Cancerian like that. I cry during romantic scenes, books... the works.

Give us a quick Don sign-off line...
Kaun kehta hai ki chamatkaar nahi hote? Kabhi mujhe kareeb se dekha hai?

I charge what I deserve: Bipasha Basu

Asking for a crore for an item song or not performing for New Year, Bipasha Basu does some straight talking as she looks back on 2011

Bipasha Basu is not looking back with regret or nostalgia. She's looking forward to 2012, what with her birthday (on January 7) and her latest film, and of course, December 31, when she's going to have that "one day when I can let my hair down."

So, no New Year's Eve performance like previous years? "No," says Bips, "Also, no regrets this year. But then, I don't like to look back. But what I remember is that this year has gone by very fast, I have travelled a lot, I have made too many friends, it's getting difficult to spend time with them all. I had a lot of fun this year. I have laughed a lot... Yes, 2011 has been amazing for me." She's also ended a longstanding relationship... Slightly curt, she says, "The relationship was gone way back before that - it's been more than a year now. There's no point in discussing it. Right now, it's just hard work for me."

But why no year-end moolah-raking performances this time? "I've done it for the last four years. This year, I wanted to take a break. There was also the promotional tour for "Players", and it would've been impossible to build a show into this itinerary. So I thought this New Year's, I'd rather be with friends and family, just let my hair down for that one day," she replies, and adds that she doesn't get to party much in India. "I don't get to do it much because most of the time, I'm working. But I'm a very dinner-with-close-friends kind of person. I do love to go out dancing, but in India I can't, so when we are abroad, sometimes the unit heads out and goes partying - so that's when I go clubbing all night."

There was news about the Telugu remake of " Dabangg", " Gabbar Singh", for which she was approached to do the Tamil "Munni Badnaam". Reportedly, she asked for a crore - is that true? "I demand exactly what I deserve," comes her reply, before she goes on to explain, "I am not going to get into the nitty-gritties, because figures are very loosely quoted in our industry. Sometimes it is highly exaggerated, and at other times, it is quoted as quite low. Finally, the job that we do, if we are paid the amount we ask for, it is because we deserve it. I'm not answerable to anyone about how much I charge for what and why I do it."

And what's her role like in "Players"? "I play a girl called Rhea - an automobile expert and the best thief in town. She is all woman, knows how to use her charm and con people..." Quite like Bipasha in real life, barring the con bit, is it? "Oh no! I am so pathetic with machines in real life, it's not a joke. I'd rather walk, or even run, than take the car out myself. I like to be driven around. Yes, I like fancy cars, and fancy bikes too. It's my dream to learn how to ride one myself, but for now, I am content being driven around. And, for the record, I don't con anyone - I never have. I am what I am and what you see is what you get. And as for charming, I am said to be charming - people do tell me that, but I don't know about it myself, I think a little bit of it must be true - not so bad, huh?"

And wearing the bikini - that must've made her feel attractive as well... "It's all positive talk, so it's great - if my carriage in a bikini is great, and if I do it gracefully, then I think... that's it. In a film like "Players", a sexy thriller - it's like a James Bond film where you can wear a bikini and look in sync with the film, it doesn't look forced. And the character I play is like that. Also, I wore a bikini on screen when it made sense to me. I would not do it for anybody on earth, and did not, till now. We did a lot of prepping for it. Six weeks of training - I followed a discipline - you know, to look right on screen. There's a fine line - you can either look vulgar or look sexy, and I would always opt to look sexy rather than going in the other direction. And for that, more than anything else, you have to have the trust the directors, and I trusted the DOP. It has to be about your style and your comfort level - you have to be as easy as you are in a pair of jeans in the bikini - only then will it work," explains Bipasha.

But what's it with the 'trusting the directors' bit? "Well, how such scenes turn out depends entirely on the sensibility of the director. Cheesy camera angles can spoil it. Also, you have to have an inner sense as an actor - the intentness to do what you want to do in front of the camera. Everything cannot be spoon fed. I did the shots, and I wanted to do them, whether the frontal shots or the side pose. I have been into bodies and fitness, so I am very critical about how a body should look in terms of flaunting it. I would never fall down and roll and do a cleavage shot - I have seen those in Bollywood films and those are things I cannot tolerate. I wouldn't do that. That's not me - I'd rather look sharp and sexy and stylish just doing a walk."

Ok. On to "Singularity" then. When do we get to see what she's done with Josh Hartnett? "I have no idea about when the film is coming to India. I am to fly down to London to see it, I have no dates right now to do so. I hope to see it End of Jan, and sometime in summer, you will all see it," says Bipasha. And as for Hollywood career, Bips says, "I am definitely not planning a move to Hollywood, but if anything comes my way and I can entertain a global audience, I am open to it. But I am not open to flying down and living in LA for two-three months. I am accepted here and I am very happy doing the films I do here. "

And 2012 for her will be about? ""Players", "Raaz 3", one of the most challenging roles of my life, and in April, I want to shoot my second DVD. So, 2012 is all about work for me," says Bipasha.

Adi To Re-shoot Rani’s Film

Aditya Chopra going to re-shoot an untitled Rani Mukherjee-Shahid Kapoor starrer film, which was previously directed by Anuraag Singh.
As YRF’s recent film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi didn’t worked up to expectations, the production house is getting conscious and doubly sure about their films. A Rani Mukherjee-Shahid Kapoor starrer untitled venture of YRF, which is directed by debutant director Anuraag Singh is doomed. Everybody involved in the film is unhappy with the results and now it’s decided that it will have reshot. Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra are unhappy with the 60 percent of the film.
One source said, “Anuraag Singh has been associated with Aditya Chopra for a long time and Adi was very keen to give him a film to direct. However, there have been constant reports about Adi being unhappy with the way the film was being shot. First, his lady love (Rani) objected to the ways of Singh so she was ghost-directing the film. Later, Adi and Yashji saw the film and did not approve of it. They felt that the film was not up to the YRF standards. Now that Rab Ne… has released, Adi saw the shot portions once again and feels that the film should be reshot.”
But the source added that there is no bitterness between Adi and Anuraag. “Anuraag holds Adi in high esteem and has understood his point of view. Majority of the portions will be reshot now.”
On the other hand, Aashish Singh, VP productions YRF, said, “Not True. There is no re-shooting. The shootings are happening on schedule.”
In the film, Rani is playing a role of a cricket enthusiast. She is obsessed with the sport so much that can go to any level to play it. Her obsession leads in such a way that she becomes a Sardar and enters in a male cricket team.

Parmeet’s Film is Copy of Rock On!!

V actor Parmeet Sethi is about to make his debut as director with Yash Raj Films. But his film has found a striking resemblance to last year’s super hitRock On!! The only difference in to films is that Parmeet’s film has a Punjabi flavour. Rock On!! had a urban feel, while Parmeet’s has a Punjabi feel.
Parmeet’s film which is still untitled stars Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Veer Das and Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang in lead roles.
When Parmeet was quizzed about whether his film is copy of Rock On!!, he replied, “I won’t say that my film has got nothing to do with music but it is not exactly based on what you are saying.”
As Yash Raj Films is always inclined towards the Punjabi culture, this film is just a Punjabi flavour of Rock On!!

Yash Raj Films Coming Up With TV Show

The biggest banner of Bollywood Yash Raj Films is planning to enter into the world of small screen with a TV show called rishta.com. The show will be a comedy show which will show a matrimony office through which couples meet. However to make the entry grand, YRF is not leaving any stone unturned. It is in talks with the big actors who worked for the banner to make a cameo on the show. According to reports Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherji, Preity Zinta, Uday Chopra, Tabu, Ritesh Deshmukh and Jugal Hansraj are the amongst who will make appearance to the show.
According to a source “YRF is leaving no stone unturned to make a grand entry in television. They have spoken to most of the top actors, who have worked with them. While most of the actors have already agreed to make an appearance in Rishta.com, some are still being approached. The show is about a matrimony office through which couples meet,” said a source.
The look of the show and costumes are finalized and director Rishabh Seth will direct it. The show will be broadcasted in October. When contacted to YRF, its spokesperson said, “YRF is working on various television concepts, which are right now at different stages of development and are untitled. We will make an announcement when everything is in place.”

YRF In Legal Tangle Over New York

Suchita Bhhatia, a new director making her way to the film industry blames Yash Raj Films banner for using her script in their recent flick New York without informing her. The director who is also a writer claims that it was the same story she narrated to YRF three years ago. But when she saw that her story is used in New York after three years, she broke her silence.
“I wrote to Aditya Chopra in August 2006 regarding two stories I had. He asked director Arjun Sablok to get in touch with me. He contacted me and we fixed up a meeting at the YRF studio. On September 1, I met Arjun and narrated two story ideas to him. He was extremely happy with the stories. I still remember him exclaiming ‘Wow!’ I kept writing to him, but there was no response and I gave up as I got busy with other work. To my surprise, after three years, I saw New York and was disheartened to know what they had done: using my story without even informing me, let alone give me any credit,” said the newbie.
She has also filed a complaint against Writer’s Association, to which she had registered the story in 2006. However director Sablok is not able to recollect the past as he said, “I have no recollection of such a meeting and I need more time before I can officially comment on the matter.”
Meanwhile, Kabir Khan the director of New York is also in angry state of mind, who said, “If this girl had written the script and if YRF had liked the story so much why wouldn’t they take it? And why would they pay and give credit to Sandeep Shrivastav for the same story instead? It’s ridiculous that people use a popular film to get cheap publicity and five minutes of fame. And the theatrical promos of New York were out since 2008 and they stated exactly what the film was all about so why is she raising her voice now?”

Yash Raj Films to Launch New Female Face

Like they launched Anushka Sharma with RNBDJ, Yash Raj Films is set to launch one more female face Shazahn Padamsee alongside Ranbir Kapoor with yet to be named venture to be directed by Shimit Amin. The director claim to fame with his last film Chak De India with YRF productions.
She is a daughter of renowned theatre personality Alque Padmasee and pop singer Sharon Prabhakar. The girl has already walked the ramp before and acted in dad Alque Padmasee’s play Unspoken Dialogues. To grab the role Shazahn gone through auditions conducted by YRF. Previously it was assumed that Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will act together in the film. But according to reports only Ranbir has been signed for the movie.

Anushka to romance with Akshay now

After Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor, actress Anushka Sharma is all set to romance with hot Akshay Kumar on screen. She started her career with Yash Raj Films Rab Ne Bana De Jodi opposite Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan. The kid of break any actor only can dream of. However she continued the run since then. Soon after Rab Ne… she is working along side Shahid Kapoor for Parmeet Sethi’s yet to be titled directorial venture. Now the latest update on her career chart says that Anushka will pair up with Akshay Kumar in Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House.
“I loved the script the moment I heard it,” tells the actress. “However, I didn’t want to do anything impulsive. So I slept over it for a day and went back to Nikhil telling him I was most certainly on for the project,” says Anushka excitedly.
How she feels about acting against Akshay? “I have never met Akshay Kumar in my life and I’m going to be romancing him in my next project. I can’t tell you how excited I am. First I got to romance Shah Rukh, then Shahid and now Akshay. It is as if I’m walking on a cloud,” says the leggy actress.
Aditya Chopra acted like a godfather to her by lending Rab Ne… to start her career. So does she seek any advice regarding the film from him? “Adi would hate it if I called him my mentor or godfather,” says Anushka.
“He and I are not friends. He is someone I hold in high regard. He holds a special place for me forever because he gave me a break that a girl can only dream of. Adi is also too professional to ask me about the script of another filmmaker. And I’m equally professional, so I will not reveal any details. But I can pick up the phone and seek his advice if I wish to. He is always there for his actors/technicians,” she adds.
Anushka confesses that she is very ambitious, but will not jump on any film to keep herself engaged. “I started at the top with Rab Ne…. Now I have to work double hard. An actor told me, ‘Anushka, you have been given a silver platter. Keep it clean.’ My desire, therefore, is to always try and put my best foot forward,” says the actress.

Who will play young Akki in Patiala House?

Director Nikhil Advani’s directorial venture Patiala House starring Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma is about to start it’s shooting from next month, but the filmmaker is in trouble with casting as he has not yet zeroed on who will play a 17-year-old Akshay in the film. And for the same the film team has decided to for a nationwide hunt starting from December 1 to December 15.
A source revealed, “The film’s team was tired of auditioning and watching show reels. None of the boys fulfilled the requirements. So, Akshay suggested that they conduct a nation-wide hunt. The participants essentially have to match Akshay’s height and body language.”
Advertisements for the contest will be announced in newspapers across the country. All the entries will be collected on December 1. Director Nikhil will select ten semifinalists, while Akshay will choose a winner out of them.
What will be Akshay’s decisive factor? The director explained, “Akshay is very keen on casting someone who comes from a real background. At 17, Akshay was a typical middle class boy; he wants some of his qualities to show in the boy who will play him in the film.”
Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Talreja will produce the film. The film will be shot with tight schedule as it is slated to release on 2010 Diwali.

Shahid-Anushka Together

Anushka Sharma was kept under wraps before the release of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. However her fans are still waiting for her second film, but she is bound to Yash Raj Films for two more films. Now she is ready with the second film with YRF alongside Shahid Kapoor in main lead.
The film will be directed by TV actor Parmeet Sethi. The film is yet to be titled but it is a Parmeet’s directorial debut. Parmeet didn’t give too many details about the film as per the contract norms. But we heard that the Ex-Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang and comedian Veer Das are also part of the film.
Will this jodi work? What you think guys?

Anushka Sharma Bound to Yash Raj Films for Two More Films

After Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Anushka Sharma is bound to Yash Raj Films for two more films. However YRF is in no hurry to start the next films.
Before the release of the film, she was kept under wraps, while some think that even after the release of the film she is still under wraps as she has a contract to do two more films with Yash Raj.
Anushka said, “Yes, I’m under contract to do two more films with Yash Raj.”
“I was kept away from the media’s glare for a reason. I wanted to focus completely on my film. And it served the purpose,” says Anushka.
When asked to her why she didn’t presented with the finesse and sophistication that is associated with the banner, she replied, “You are right. Even when girls are supposed to be simple, in a Yash Raj film she’s always glamorous. But you see, I can always get into chiffon saris in my next Yash Raj film.”
Although, Anushka seems excited about her next film, the feeling doesn’t seem mutual from YRF side.

Karan Puts Hrithik in Big B’s Shoes

Director-producer Karan Johar plans to remake 90’s blockbuster Agneepath. For the lead role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Karan has approached Hrithik Roshan. In the original film the role was played by Amitabh Bachchan. Karan is also making Hindi remake of Hollywood hit film Stepmom, for which he had to pay high amount to buy its rights. But for the remake of Agneepath he doesn’t need to buy the rights as it was made by his home production. The original film was produced by his late father Yash Johar and directed by Mukul Anand starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa.
One source revealed, “Karan has been planning to remake Agneepath but he was waiting for the right time. Now, he is confident that his company, Dharma Productions, can make multiple films at the same time. The film will be directed by Karan Malhotra, who Karan thinks is one of his most promising assistants. While some changes will be made in the script to give it a contemporary feel, Karan does not want to change any dialogue as he is very confident of the dialogue in the original Agneepath.”
“Surprisingly, Karan has not approached Abhishek Bachchan to play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, which was played by the actor’s father in the original. While Hrithik is still deciding if he wants to star in the remake, Karan is sure that Hrithik is the perfect choice. However, the Dharma Productions team is yet to decide on the actors who will play Krishnan Iyer MA, played by Mithun Chakraborty, and Kancha Cheena, played by Danny Denzongpa, in the original,” the source added later.
However Hrithik’s business manager, Ashok Vashodia said, “Karan and Hrithik are extremely close. They keep discussing various projects. However, I am unaware of any offer as far as Agneepath is concerned.”

I will never give up acting for anyone, anything: Vidya Balan

Marriage may or may not fit in the next five years, but Vidya is not going to give up acting for anyone or anything and she also thinks that life has been good ever since she has turned 30.
She says, “Acting is a part of who I am. I don’t think I will ever give it up. But having said that, if it does come naturally to me and I do feel like taking it slow at some point of time, then maybe I will. But this will never be a pre-condition to get into any relationship.”
Vidya Balan will be seen soon in her latest movie No One Killed Jessica, which is based on the Jessica Lal murder case. Vidya is happy about the fact the women are not giving up their careers for their personal lives anymore.
“I think women should work at every age. It is fantastic! And this is happening in every profession. I recently met a girl at a store who got back to work just after two months of delivering a child, this is known as dedication. But yes, in our profession in the earlier days, the instant you get married, you are ceased to be an object of desire, which is why most of the actresses have retired. Today, no longer! I guess this is all got to do with the fact and attitude that today if someone is with someone, it will never stop you from desiring them!”
This critically acclaimed actress, who has featured in movies like Parineeta,GuruIshqiya and Paa is rolling high these days. Neither her performances nor her dressing sense are being criticized. However, she admits that she has turned careful and fussy.
“I guess over a period of time, I think rightfully so, I have got the courage to do only what I want to do. I will never get pressurized to do anything, which I don’t want to do, even if it is a right film, or a kind of film that one should be doing. It has to excite me and challenge me. It can be a super simple film, it can be a completely mad role or it can be intense….it can be anything across this wide spectrum….but I have to feel excited,” she said.
This has also been her mantra when it comes to dressing up, especially since the time she become the favorite child of our fashion police. Now one will see her wearing only designer wears by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. She has got this new elegant look, which steals the focus wherever she goes.
“I will always stick to what makes me feel good. If I feel that I am looking good in something, then I will surely wear it. And if it is not, then even if it is the most beautiful crafted creation, I will not. This is the only criteria I use when I am wearing anything these days and I think this has worked for me,” says Vidya.
Let’s see how does Vidya manage to look in her new de-glam role in No One Killed Jessica.

Karisma will file for Divorce!

A few days ago there was news in one of the leading tabloids that Karisma and Sanjay’s marriage is going through a rocky patch. Now, the news is that Karisma will be filing for divorce.
Babita and Randhir’s elder daughter, Karisma, is ready to contemplate divorce after her irreconcilable differences with her husband. Something has led to a quasi-separation between the pair. A close source revealed, “If she has not yet filed it, it would be any time now.”
After a really long deliberation, Karisma has decided that she cannot be with Sanjay anymore. She is not in the mood to take him back. It is just a matter of time before the lawyers will be appointed to do the needful.
The source adds, “The time has come for Karisma to emerge from a bad marriage. She is terribly distraught and very stressed. She has virtually become a loner.”
To cheer her up, her friends dragged her to a fashion show, which was held in October, hoping that she would let her hair down. But suddenly the media happened to enter the party enclave. Seeing this Karisma ran away from the party.
The source says, “She feared that someone or other would ask her about her marriage and she would not be able to hide it.”
Sanjay Kapur is a Delhi based industrialist who married Karisma in September 2003. They had their first child in 2005, the second one in March 2010.
The source added, “Even when Karisma was pregnant with her second child, Sanjay was in the company of some girl. After she delivered her second baby, a son, he got cozy with a socialite in Delhi.”
Another source said, “Sanjay has not been to Oberoi Crest, Khar the new home where Karisma is living since the past three months. Karisma is undergoing hell. She has devoted a lot of her time in this relationship. She reconciled with Sanjay hoping that things will sort out.”
Guess the Delhi-Mumbai flights will be less frequent now, as Karisma will start fresh in the city of dreams, again.

Ranbir Kapoor voted as the Sexiest Asian Man

The Rockstar of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor has finally clinched the Sexiest Asian Man title, beating some strong competitors like John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan.
This Kapoor scion, who is famous for his high profile romances, topped the survey, which was conducted by the London Weekly, Eastern Eye.
The 28-year-old heartthrob of the nation says, “If the women did not like me I would feel that something is wrong, but it does feel good. I do understand that the fans I have comprise mainly of women, it feels good to be wanted by so many women.”
Meanwhile the editor of Eastern Eye said that the actor had claimed for this title with an overwhelming margin. The editor said, “Usually it is a closely fought contest, where as this year there was only one clear winner. Winning by large margin is remarkable when you take into consideration the very high profile men who were in the list.”
Ranbir made his acting debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. He has been going strong post his launch and has tasted every bit of the commercial success with hits like RajneetiWake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani.
The Bollywood hunk John Abraham missed this spot and landed second on this. Hrithik Roshan got the third spot while R&B star Jay Sean got the fourth spot.
Surprisingly, the ladylove of Ranbir’s life also topped the list of the hottest women in the world.

Ranveer Singh: Anushka and I are very good friends

The newcomer in Bollywood Ranveer Singh recently made his debut in Band Baaja Baaraat opposite Anushka Sharma and confirmed that they both are very good friends. He does not bother about the rumors, which claim that they both are romantically involved. Ranveer told, “She and I are very god friends. How do I change the truth just because it sounds clichéd? Neither of us are affected about what people are saying.”
As for the rumors that are floating in the air these days, he says, “I was too much into my work to even pay attention to the rumors. I just want to perform well and this has been my only concern. In fact, I was casually dating a girl and a call from Yashraj changed my life. So far I have never been in a serious relationship and my career has just started.”
He continued saying, “We come from different schools of filmmaking. I am a trained actor and she has never been to an acting school. As a model she has faced the camera several times and is two films older to me. She is a one-take actor and I believe in a lot of rehearsal, which was the only thing that annoyed Anushka the most. Because her first take was always the best. We had to come to a middle ground before we both could take off. Now, I feel that I was rehearsing more than required because it was my first movie. She is the one who taught me how to be spontaneous. But the fact is we had to be complete loggerheads on screen and this was helped with our constant friction on the sets regarding the approach of acting.”
When asked about his first release Band Baaja Baaraat he says, “I think after this movie I have to do something with a completely contrasting character. Someone who is not opinionated, loud and unsophisticated.”
One call from Yashraj changed my life, “It was completely out of the blue from the casting director Shanu Sharma. I distinctly remember that I was out on a date and that day Shanu kept calling me. I tried to avoid her calls for as long as I could because I had different things on my mind that moment. Imagine if I had not received her call from Yashraj that day for a fling, which had lasted only for ten days! Anyways the next day I went to Yashraj and did two scenes and they gave a call back within three days. Later, Adi Sir told me that he had made up his mind about me immediately.”
There have been rumors that his father had financed the film, he says, “Yes such rumors do hurt me a lot. And such ugly things take away my pleasure of being the first solo hero to be launched by Yashraj. The pride of my family that I made it on my own got blunted, it was like snatching my little achievement from me. I am proud of myself and I believe in destiny so no rumor can even affect me.”

Priyanka Chopra on her character ‘Kaali’.

Priyanka Chopra’s role as Kaali is the soul in Agneepath. The actress plays the leading lady opposite Hrithik Roshan in their upcoming flick.

“The best thing about Kaali (her character in the film) is that she is Vijay’s strength. She is the soul, happiness and naughtiness in the film… So to prepare, I had to just follow Karan,”
Said PC at the unveiling of the second look of the film.
Priyanka plays a Maharashtrian girl. However, her character in the film has no resemblance to that of Sweety in “Kaminey”.
“I was playing a Maharashtrian girl for the second time. When Karan Malhotra and I discussed the film, we were very clear that we have to try to keep this character as different as possible from my character of Sweety in ‘Kaminey’ because the personalities of both the girls are different.”
“Karan was very clear-minded about Kaali’s character. So, it was very easy for me,”
Agneepath releases on Jan 26. The film also sees Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor in key roles.
