Akshay Kumar, John Abraham's dangerous chopper stunt!

Akshay Kumar and John Abraham recently shot a risky shot while aboard a helicopter, while shooting for a song Krishika Lulla's Desi Boyz inBangkok last week. Fortunately the stars escaped unhurt from the experience.
Says a source on the sets, "The director Rohit Dhawan wanted this particular shot (Akshay and John climbing down from a moving chopper in the sky) very badly for the title song of the film but he was worried for his actors because of the risk involved! He didn't know how to tell the two actors but Akshay heard about it and immediately wanted to do it as he loves action. John do too loves action and wanted to give it a try. Fortunately it was done in a single take - that too the actors shot without harness. It was an expensive shoot and the shot taken on a creative call. The entire sequence was shot over Bangkok city near the helipad. Mahendra Varma has directed the helipcopter sequence. Akshay and John were both in white and had to do the sequence without harness as that would have shown in the close up shots."
The source adds that despite being a very risky and dangerous shot where the actors had to step just out of the chopper mid they used no strapping at all. "Akki and John had to step down from the moving chopper onto the steps below. Both the actors were convinced about the shot. Rohit was very nervous about his actors doing something as risky as this but the two actors went ahead and did the shot confidently in a single take."
Producer Krishika Lulla says, "I was really scared when they were performing the stunt. My heart was in my mouth till the shot got over. I requested Akshay before he did the stunt not to do it without any support or harness but John and he insisted. They were really brave. Akki said he would never use any support. My production team told me the entire risk was mine. It was scary till both completed the shoot."
