The story of gangster Abu Salem and his actress-girlfriend Monica Bedi has been a closely followed one, and now we have learnt that Nikhil Dwivediwill star in a film called " Tamanchey", in which, say sources, he plays a character whose life is similar to that of Abu Salem.
Directed by debutante Bharat and produced by Suryaveer Singh, the story is about a gangster couple and their experiences with cops. Says a source, "On the face of it, it sounds quite similar to the life of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi, but of course, no one will confirm it. Currently, it's being pegged as fictional, but with a lot of research put in so that the characters seem authentic. Nikhil is playing the lead, but the female lead has not been locked yet. The film will go on floors this month." The film will be shot majorly in Delhi and Mumbai, with references to real gangster incidents.
