Scarlett Johansson made an Indian connection over champagne in China. The actress hobnobbed with Abhay Deol at an exclusive event to celebrate a champagne company's 150th year in that country.
"What can I say about Scarlett that has not already been said?", asks Abhay. "Being a celebrity means being many things, the persona that comes across from the characters you play, the image that comes through. I'm just looking forward to getting an insight into the person and not the celebrity," he says.
Deol is the only Indian star invited for the prestigious event, affirmed Gaurav Bhatia, the company's marketing director. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Nature Conservancy, a local environmental initiative helping to protect nature and preserve wildlife, according to Bhatia.
