A thousand strong crowd awaited Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan, Ali Zafar and director Ali Abbas Zafar when they entered a Jaipur mall to promote their upcoming movie, " Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".
The minute the event started, the girls in the crowd wanted the "Tere Bin Laden" actor, to sing a song and he did just that. Zafar said, "I am coming to Jaipur for the first time," adding, "Yeh sab mujhe sikha rahe thay as to how should I hold the mike when I talk to my fans." Katrina, who often comes to Ajmer, said, "It is wonderful to be back to Jaipur as this city is very lucky for me because whenever I come here, my movies do well."
All this while, the suave Imran was quiet, but when he started to speak, the audience had a good laugh. To the 'Tell us something about the movie' question, Imran replied, "Yeh uss type ki film nahi hai." Then why should we watch the movie, Imran was asked. "Kyunki jitney achche aap hain, utni hi acchi yeh movie hai," came the smart repartee. Katrina looked fit and slim, and to this comment, she said, "This is the leftover from Sheila."
The trio then did what everyone who comes to Rajasthan ends up doing: wear Rajasthani pagadis and they did so smilingly. Abbas also did the same. And then, Katrina was asked if she would ever do a movie on the Rajasthani culture. "I have done movies in Malayalam and Telugu and I would love to do a regional film here and shoot in Rajasthan as well, as I think it is one of the best places in the world," she said. Following this revelation, there was a brief pause as Imran and Kat indulged in some serious discussions. Later, she laughed and said, "Imran was shocked since he wasn't aware of my Malayalam endeavours, so I was updating him."
