Telugu superstar Ram Charan Tej speaks about his Bollywood dreams.
Telugu superstar Ram Charan Teja is presently making news for his engagement to Upasana Kamineni. But beyond the continual stories about his personal life, the actor is very much busy on professional front completing his next film Rachaa. "It is a love drama with an action feel to it. With Rachaa I get back to action (after Magadheera ). It has very edgy action", says Ram.
And when do we get to see him in a Hindi movie? The actor seems much upbeat about doing Bollywood cinema but is waiting for the right film. There were rumours last year that Farhan Akhtar has signed him for a Hindi film called Hafiz . "I have never met Farhan Akhtar so I don't know where this news comes from", clarifies the Telugu superstar.
Any particular wish-list of filmmaker he wants to work in Bollywood? "I would love to work with Raju Hirani. I never thought I would have a wish-list of director as such but after seeing the consistency of his storylines and the human touch he gets in his film, I would love to work with him. I have also expressed my desire to him when I met him".
Ram Charan's father, Chiranjeevi had played the title role of Shankar Dada MBBS in the Telugu remake of Rajkumar Hirani's first film Munnabhai MBBS . Perhaps its time the son works with the original filmmaker now!
