After two consecutive South remakes, looks likeSalman Khan is looking towards mana Tollywood for his next big hit once again .
While "Ready", his remake of the Telugu hit, did wonders at the box office, his latest offering, "Bodyguard", which is a remake of a Malayalam movie is already making the right noises, according to reports. And now, he is keen on striking a hat trick. It is confirmed that the recently-released "Kandireega" starring Ram has caught Sallu's fancy. With the full-on entertainer already declared a hit, the Salman camp has now asked the producers to send them a print of the film.
"Salman's brother asked me to send the print of the film and they watched the film," says Bellamkonda Suresh, producer of "Kandireega", who reveals that other Hindi filmmakers too are vying with Salman for the remake rights of the film. "Many people from Bollywood have been asking me about the film, apart from Salman. I haven't decided anything yet," adds the producer, who is already remaking the film in Tamil now. "We are still in the discussion stage. I haven't decided who is going to play the lead yet," he says.
Apart from "Kandireega", Salman Khan is also waiting for the release of Mahesh Babu's "Dookudu". Sreenu Vytla, the director of the film was the one who directed "Ready" in Telugu. And with "Ready" turning out to be such a money-churner for Salman, the actor has pinned his hopes on "Dookudu" too. According to sources, Salman who is in the US right now, will zero in on one of the two films for his next project once he is back.
When contacted, Sreenu Vtyla, the director of "Dookudu" said that he doesn't want to comment on anything right now as he is busy with the release of the film. "It's too early to comment. I will talk once "Dookudu" hits the screens," he says.
