Asin Thottumkal's world is rather Utopian, where there's only peace and no war, or so she'd have us believe.
Reacting sharply to media rumours that she andGenelia D'Souza can't stand the sight of each other, Asin says, "Where do such rumours come from? Genelia and I have no issues. We message each other often and exchange pleasantries. We are SMS buddies."
Interestingly, Asin is part of the Houseful 2 cast, that also stars Genelia's 'good friend' Ritiesh Deshmukh. "Genelia and Ritiesh are currently shooting in Patiala. I have been exchanging messages with Ritiesh too," says Asin, adding that hectic work schedules makes it difficult for actors to socialize. "But there's no reason for a war with anyone," she says.
The constant talk of her problems with other contemporaries apart, Asin says that she is extremely secure about her own position in the industry and doesn't see anyone as a direct threat to her.
"I have my own share of hits in each of the languages I have worked in. Even in Bollywood, my filmsGhajini and Ready are on the list of the highest grossers ever. When the going is so good, there's no reason for insecurity. There's no cause for animosity with anyone either," she signs off.
