Actor Salman Khan has reason enough to smile. His last film 'Ready' was a hit, and his 'Bodyguard' is being eagerly awaited. Anyway, the busy Salman Khan popularly hailed as Chulbul - his character name in the blockbuster 'Dabangg' - is keeping himself away from Dabangg 2, we hear!
The reason is clear. Right now, the actor is so busy shooting for other films that he is leaving the scripting and brainstorming of 'Dabangg 2' toArbaaz Khan and his team. We are told thatDabangg 2 is still in its scripting stages and the physical presence of Salman is unwarranted. "Whenever there's an idea, it's always best to pick up the phone and talk to bhai," we are told, "He is shooting and not always in the city."
Of course, Dabanng and its sequel is very close to Salman's heart, so much so that there were talks that the actor himself was scripting Dabangg 2. However Salman clarified that he isn't writing the script of the sequel and will only act in it! Taking part in brainstorming sessions and giving ideas and suggestions will happen as the film progresses and is but natural between an actor and director, but Salman isn't sitting down and writing Dabangg 2 at all!
He is instead up and about 'kicking some bad a**' on celluloid.
