Kamal Hassan's action thriller Vishwaroopam might not yet have a female lead, but the filmmaker has decided to get Rahul Bose on-board to play the second lead.
Reportedly, Bose's character has negative shades. And so, Bose has been told to grow a beard for the film.
The film has had a tumultuous start. It was originally to be directed by Selvaraghvan, but due to creative differences, Kamal decided to take on the directorial reins himself. This delayed the film, which in turn made the lead actress Sonakshi Sinha opt out of the venture as her dates clashed with her other project, Rowdy Rathore.
The source told us, "All the road blocks have turned out to be a bless -ing in disguise for Rahul Bose, who got ample time to get into character. He has grown a beard and is looking like the character required for the film. Bose himself is very excited about working with Kamal Hassan."
The film, which will incorporate a lot of SFX, has already gone on floors.
