Director Atul Agnihotri attaches nephew's promo to Bodyguard, while Salman Khan picks the other promo to go with the film
Most producers consider Salman Khan's films lucky and doggedly pursue the star to attach the promos of their upcoming films to his. However, only two promos have been okayed to accompanyBodyguard - Dharma Productions' Agneepath and Joe Rajan's Luv U Soniyo. Both choices were made for sentimental reasons.
Salman is fond of Karan Johar and Hrithik Roshan, and hence was happy to showcase their film's trailer. The second film stars Rati Agnihotri's son Tanuj Virwani (also Bodyguard producer Atul Agnihotri's cousin) who is making his debut in the film. A source reveals, "Atul was quite impressed with Luv U Soniyo's promo. He even complimented Tanuj on his debut."
Director Joe Rajan confirms, "Atul has been very kind. To have our promo attached with Bodyguard is a big deal. We know what a big hit Bodyguard will be and there was no better opportunity for Luv U Soniyo's promo to be showcased than in Salman's movie."
