After launching a production company, Ameesha Patel now wants to try her hand at hitting another sixer.
If things go as per plans, she will jump into the IPL bandwagon along with her business partner Kunal Goomer. Considering her love for cricket (she was seen enjoying the game at the IPL matches and seen cheering the team at the World Cup) no one is really surprised about her new business plan. "Yes, IPL is high on cards. I am in talks with couple of people to form a team as a co-owner and brand ambassador. I really love cricket," says an excited Ameesha.
Being conferred the title of Grand Marshal on the Independence Day in Los Angeles gave her yet another high. The actress was in LA where the American Indian Association had organized a grand celebration with around 15,000 Indians participating. She hoisted the flag and was also bestowed a trophy for her contribution to the Indian cinema. A few years back, on the Independence Day, Ameesha was the Grand Marshal in New York, and was driven around in an open convertible car at the Madison Avenue. "It was a moment of great pride and honour for me to be part of the Independence Day on a foreign shore," beams the actress.
