Brought up in Mumbai, the city's home to Salman Khan's discovery actress Zarine Khan. Talking about the pressures of becoming a celebrity, she says, "one cannot even venture out alone." Zarine has been a tomboy since her childhood days and loved her biking rides.
"I love speed. So, during college, we used to take off on bikes. Now all of that has changed. I am told to move in groups and not be too seen in the public eye. Bike rides are a faraway ream now. But I do drive my car in the nights with my sister and mom,"she asserts.
About link-ups, which are the flavour of most gossip magazines, she seems to have learned to handle it all. "Even if I go out my with my cousin brother, people will start to link me. I am worried about that too, now." About her possessiveness over Salman Khan and run-ins with actresses Asin and Sonakshi Sinha, she says, "Whenever we meet up. We laugh it off." But then for the love of films and cinema, she's ready to go through the grill and is raring to go. "I last watched Delhi Belly. I'd like to do a film like that," she concludes.
