Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan finally came face to face and shot for their first ever item song together
It was a meeting of exes for the shooting of the title song of Salman's next item song 'Aaya re aaya bodyguard', shot at Film City. This will be the title montage. Katrina was seen rigorously rehearsing her steps for the song as she wanted it to be as perfect as Sheila Ki Jawaani or even out do herself (with Salman).
Sources say that it was co-producer Atul Agnihotri and wife Alvira's idea to ask Katrina to do an item number for the film. She immediately said yes. The chemistry between the two is said to be sizzling and the shoot was filmed quite smoothly.
Interestingly, Salman's real life bodyguard Shera makes his own screen debut with this item song and will be seen dancing and doing an acting bit with Salman and Katrina (as Katrina's Bodyguard). 'Bodyguard' is a romantic action film starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Directed by Siddique, the film is a remake of the director's 2010 Malayalam film of the same name. After Wanted (2009 Eid release) and Dabangg (2010 Eid release) Salman's Bodyguard is all geared up to release this Eid on August 31, 2011.
